BACK TO EARTH TOUR BLOG - DAY 15

We just touched down on our third province of the tour... bout to do it up tonight in Winnipeg... feeling refreshed after having a couple of days off... We chilled out at a cottage up in the middle of nowhere... didn't even have cell phone let alone connection to the internet... but in the end it was all good... Got a chance to chill and rest up for the final leg of the tour...

Saskatchewan was a good time... even though it was a Monday show - usually slowest night of the week - Saskatoon was nice... we rocked an Irish Pub there so wasn't sure of what to expect at first...

Next up was Regina, and what can I say about Regina??? It's wild... crazy spot... people get hype there...

Since its our only show in Manitoba, I'm anxious to see what Winnipeg is going to be like...

We're going to try and take it ez tonight since its an 11 hour drive tomorrow...but i have a feeling it could get a little wild...

we'll see!!

BACK TO EARTH TOUR DAY 11

One of the best parts about being on tour is getting to connect with family and friends on the road... In Edmonton I got a chance to see some cousins and then a friend of mine I haven't seen in like 5 years... It was good being back in Edmonton because we had a good time there last summer... There were two shows going on at the same time at the venue... however, the green rooms were the same... so we're chillin with these hardcore heavy metal rockers, but they were mad cool!

the show was real hot... literally! they had this massive fan downstairs but it didn't help, and our performance didn't help either, cause you know we don't take days off... especially with fam and friends out there you got to go extra hard!

unfortunately it also means your fam and friends want to make this THE night, so several Jagerbombs later, it got a little crazy... thats when the Scotian comes out... haha Big shout out to my man Tim for putting on that show...

Last night in Lethbridge was hot too... it was my fourth time playing there so its good seeing people come out and know your lyrics and get hype for your jams... I got to give it up for local crew City Prophets... those guys keep getting better each time and they bring so much energy when they come out... And a big shoutout to DJ Booda for doing it up for us once again!

Today was another long drive... now we're in Saskatoon... we're playing an Irish Pub tonight so it should be interesting... But so far so good... we got a hotel downtown and when we walked it we were like DAMN!? we got a 50 inch flatscreen... huge king beds with duvets...yeah i said it! and mad space on top of it...

I think tonight is going to be extra live...

BACK TO THE EARTH TOUR DAY 8

Whats up yall... its day 8 on our tour with Sweatshop to promote our debut album and we're chilling in Grande Prarie... we've finally got a day off so I now have a chance to get on this blogging game... Slakah has been doing most of the blogging lately...

Best show so far??? hmm Whoa, its really tough because there has been so many good shows so far... It was a lot of fun hitting Sun Peaks cause it was our first time there and we kicked off the tour there... Inveremere was dope because I've been there a few times now so each time it gets better... Golden was cool too cause again - first time... Canmore was absolutely ridiculous... Jasper? man those people know how to party... and last night in Grande Prarie didn't disappoint...

now its time to see what Edmonton will offer! time to hit the Mall and just kick it cause we got the night off... tomorrow is going to be ill though... got some family and friends coming out to the show so once again its on!

On the Road | Invermere

Invermere is a crazy little town...and when i say little, i mean it.....son...! We were welcome by friendly smiles great weather. We even put in some volleyball at the beach with the sweatshop crew.

So far, every night, I have had some great conversations with the folks who live in the area. The first night in invermere ( they need to change the name of this place to Vermere), I talked to a couple of young ladies who informed me they were fire fighters! I was all.. "NO WAY!!" and they were like " DUDE, WE JUMP OUT OF HELICOPTERS AND FIGHT FOREST FIRES!!" see....to me that is just plain cool! I love learning about people and how they live and what they do.

Earlier on this year when I came to Vancouver to help do Divine Browns record, some friends of mine told me about how you have to be cautious of these vicious cougar cats who hide in trees, then jump on you and rip open your jugular!..? see... when i go camping back in Ontario, our biggest concerns are raccoons and ...thats about it. But yall got grizzlies and cougars!!Crazy!

After Invermere we ended up in a spot called Golden B.C. Just before our performance I hear some one yell out "Byram!" I thought to myself..."No one in our touring group calls me by my government name.." I turn around to see the beautiful face of an old high school friend by the name of Seona Bradley. It had been like 7 years, but it was a pleasant surprise to say the least.

Later on that night I had a conversation with these next young ladies, and I asked them what their hobbies are and this little innocent girl says, "I love hunting and shooting cougars out of trees!".. i was like.. "Whhhhhaaaaat!!!?" shes like " Yeah dude! My dog chases em up trees and I shoot em and they drop like rocks". HAHAHAHAHA I love this place man, people are way more relaxed and seem to enjoy the simple things.

We are now on our way to Canmore Alberta!!! see yall there!!

Good day!!!

First stop of our tour brings us to Sun Peaks B.C.
The first show was sold out and was hype!!



We have another show here in Sun Peaks but we are just chillin/working untill show time.
